Saturday, November 8th - One Night Without a Home Sleep out to observe and experience National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week. Bring a tent, box or other shelter to sleep in. Bread and soup provided by the SJF Soup Kitchen. Ron Krom from St. Vincent De Paul Place will be joining us for a talk on homeless issues. Saturday, December 13th - Accoustic Cafe At the Marlborough Congregational Church 7pm - 9:30pm
The Youth Groups from the 3 Marlborough Churches will be coming together once again for an evening of music and fun at the 2nd Acoustic Cafe. Warm up those voices/guitars/keyboards/etc, get a set of songs together (a Christmas song or two would be nice), call on any of your talented friends, and get ready to perform.
Guys bring a beverage, gals bring a baked good or snack. There will also be small admission fee. $2 for students, $5 for adults. Friends and Family welcome. The more, the merrier. Ho! Ho! Ho!
Saturday, January 17th - 3rd Annual Rock-A-Thon Come Rock with us all night long to benefit a very worthy cause. Bring your own Rocking Chair! Food and fun (and coffee) will be provided. Be prepared to "rock" the night away for a good cause. Saturday, February 14th - Baby Sitting / Movie Night
Get Community Service hours for the baby sitting, and stay for the movie
afterwards...
Watch for details in the bulletin.
